About This Event
NEX's Spells, Thrills & Chills is the mall's Halloween festival, running across much of October with themed decor, a costume contest, trick-or-treat trails and family activities. The costume contest is the highlight, with prizes for the best dressed across kids and family categories.
Entry to the contest typically requires a minimum spend of $10 at NEX, scanned via the NEXrewards QR. The mall's atrium and Level 1 walkways are dressed for the season, making it a popular photo spot for Serangoon families.
It is one of the more accessible Halloween events in Singapore for young children - the scares are family-friendly and the mall setting means it is stroller-friendly and weather-proof.
